I have been debating a while on what to name my twins. I wanted unique, culture related, meaningful names.

Boy: Marco Adrian Rey C---
Girl: Maricela Adriana Reyna C---

Marco, in memory of DH's cousin, Adrian for his very close friend and Rey because it means king.

Maricela because it pieces together a few names that I like and DH's grandmother, Adriana for his sister and Reyna because it means Queen.

So, what do you ladies think?

I think the middle names are too similar.

Why put the king and queen part in there?

They are both nice names. At least you didn't go with some god-awful, outrageous names. Best wishes for you and your new babies.

We wanted the first names to be less matchy, but not many people will know and/or pay attention to the middle names. They are matchy, but atleast it's not the entire name, right?

Well, all children are precious and start out as our little princesses and princes and grow up to become someone's king and queen.

Meaning I wouldn't choose Anya, a Russian name for a hispanic child. Or Bethany, Oxana, etc.

I don't like the bc they're too similar and I hate the king and queen parts bc that's just too much and too many names IMO.  Keep the first names and change the middle.  They're your kids though so name them what you want:-)

When we were in the process of adopting our daughter from China, my son wanted to name her Jamal.  Oh yeah, here's my daughter Jamal Chinese middle name Irish last name.  I vetoed that idea very quickly.
