My DD is 2. Her speech is significantly delayed and she does this 2. Any and everything goes in her mouth. The therapists suspect Apraxia. No help here...but here's a bump Bc I would love suggestions too!

Absent minded chewing? Give him gum. I bite things like pencils too, unless I have gum.

I dont think I would give a 4 year old gum. Too many messes.

My 3 year old does that but he is teething still. His teeth are very late. Here's a bump.

Depends on the kid. My two year old chews gum and has for over a year and I've never seen him put it anywhere but the trash when he was done.
