Nope taking a break every now and then keeps me sane.

Why would I feel guilty? Trust me, the kids benefit from Mommy getting a chance to recharge.

No, I was me long before I was mom. And while I will always be mom, I'm still going to be me, too. I have zero guilt of getting a weekend sitter and ditching the mom hat for 48 hours. It's not often or even all the time, but when I'm refreshed and centered (and sane) my kid has a much happier mom

I will be the first to admit that taking time for myself makes me a better mom...All moms need a break, there is nothing to be ashamed of.

Not at all. Lol It's so rare it happens that when it does I enjoy every second.

Yes. I get breaks. But when I chose one I feel a little guilty. Because I wish I was able to be him with them. :/ I feel contradicting.

Nope!

Everyone needs a break every now and then. Its good for you, a way to recharge.

Im lucky that I have a great dh who doesnt mind being around his child. If I need to even just take a trip to the grocery store alone, hes fine with it.

I did when the kids were little because my oldest was so sick and I worked.  So I didn't take breaks from them unless it was for work.
