How long do you / did you wait to introduce your kids to a new boyfriend?

I've been dating a guy for about three weeks and no I'm not anywhere near ready to let him meet my kids but he is very serious about me and I like him a great deal. What are your thoughts and opinions on my best course of action?

My kids met my now dh when we were dating at about 4 months.

I think 6 months to a year. First only as a friend. No overnights for at least a year when kids are there.

I'd wait until you're sure the relationship is going somewhere. Maybe 6 months or so.

Last time I waited 2 months. Our kids were devastated when we broke up. I'm afraid to open up again.

My kids have known him for a long time, once we became exclusive I didn't wait. They were happy we finally decided to be together actually ;)

After 2 months. I had known the guy (now y husband) for 10 years prior to dating though otherwise I would have waited longer.
