Do you think someone can make $20 hr and still struggle? A lot of people think that's a lot of money but in reality it isn't. It is still considered low income.

Thought?

On one hand $20 an hours is pretty good for one person. On the other hand it's the same as two people making $10 and hour. Point being if only one person is working it's not all that much. Depending on your bills it can be decent or not enough.

Depends on what state you live in. In NJ, that would be poverty, Maybe not technically, but it would be.

Anyone can struggle. In 2009 we had a mountain of medical bills for DD, our 180k salary didn't mean dick. We were eating Ramen and dollar store foods.

Yes that would be a struggle for many.  $20 an hour is only around $38k per year gross. After taxes that's a pretty low take home to support a family on.

Bring home isn't even $34k. But people see $20hr and think big money but in reality it isn't.

yup Believeable. espeically if its just 1 person making $20 an hour. you have to take into consideration family size, monthly bills etc.

I make $21 an hour. I am the only one working for our family of 5. And we live check to check. So yes you can still struggle. Especially when 3 bedroom apartments are $1500+ a month.
