Dd is 16 mo, and she still uses a walker to move. I am so frustrated, as all the children around her age walk and she doesn't:/ how can i help her to start. Any tips and advice is welcome? Thanks

No walker.
Is anything else delayed?

My pedi sent her to therapy at 13 months because she wasn't walking. Talk to her doctor

What does her pedi say? I'd stop putting her in the walker.

Stop comparing her to others, first thing.

Everyone is different. My first daughter was 10 months, my 2nd was 15 months.  My son will be a year in 2 weeks and doesn't stand yet.

Take the walker away.  Does she crawl?  My youngest was a speed crawler and got around quickly that way.  He didn't bother with walking til around 16 months.

my first didn't walk until she was seventeen months. absolutely no issues with her.

unless your peditrician thinks it's an issue, there's nothing to worry about. if she's still not walking by the time she's two, then there's something wrong.

Get a referral for early intervention. The sooner you address the problem the better.
