Bodywash for dishsoap?

Please don't judge.  I am going through a rough patch right now.  I only have $3 left and I need it to buy some food for my boys, I figured I could get some peanute butter and bread at the dollar store.

I just used the very last of my dishsoap.  I'm just wondering if I can use body wash for washing dishes?

I guess it'll work in a pinch.

Maybe a neighbor can lend you a small amount if soap? Body wash isn't made to fight off the grease of dishes. I'd be concerned about an after aroma of body wash staying in my dishes. I don't know.
