I did not. I was tired and sore. My SO and I told family and friends we would let them know when we were up to receiving visitors.

No, I did not! My husband told me two friends were on the way, and I said, "Tel them to turn back and that I died in childbirth." I only let my dad and sister visit (my mom died a while ago).

By my third baby I asked people to wait until I was home. I only had a coupld surprise visitors but it was fine. I didn't have rules. The hospital had visiting hours and posted hand washing signs.

I only wanted dh there when I was giving birth. I was happy with visitors after. I had her 6 am and everyone came that afternoon and night. I was fine with it.

I didn't. I was high and tired from the c section and just wanted to sleep. But I'm not selfish and didn't want to keep my family from seeing my babies. They didn't stay long so it was OK.

I did. I was bored. Baby slept, there was nothing for me to do. I had two vaginal births then a csection. I wasn't any less bored even though I was in pain. I wanted someone to distract me.

We asked that nobody come to the hospital until the next day. We had nobody in the waiting room or in my room aside from my husband. I did let my mom come up at midnight the night he was born (he was born at 9:23), but that was it until after lunch the next day. After that, I really didn't care who came when. I just wanted some time to have some peace and quiet and spend time with him before everyone came to hold him.
