Early ...remember school starts at 8:00am !!! And my job starts at 8. So now I'm stuck in a hole. It's either I find a new job or a new school. I don't know what to do?

Find a daycare that drops kids at school. If you only need care before school it shouldn't be too expensive.

Why is that a strange request? It's a school, not a daycare center. The school that my sil works at will call CPS if you drop the kids off more than 20 minutes before school starts.

Most schools have before and after childcare, I suggest you look into that or find a sitter for the mornings to drop him off.

Our school doesn't open up until 7:45 and school starts at 8.

Can she take a bus?  Can you adjust your hours?  I understand a school not extending hours to accommodate parent's work schedules.

It's not a strange request. Most schools have that. You can only drop off 10 to 15 minutes before School..

So do like many other parents, either find her another way to school, bus or such. Or find before school care

I don't find it strange at all. Do you have family, friends or neighbors who can drop her off?
