I just realized there is only one week of vacation left.  I'm sad.  We've had a great summer and I don't want it to end! Plus I know ds faces a challenging school year, so I'm not thrilled to get up on that rollar coaster.

I hate the beginning of school.  I know some moms look forward to it.

Where do you stand?

They are already back at school, but no. I miss having an excuse to go do kiddy things.

I love it because my son LOVES to learn and is excited for school. (He's in 1st grade. I KNOW he'll hate school eventually.)

But I have to get up at 4:45am and that sucks ass.

He started on the 1st and I'm still getting used to the schedule.

I find it nervewracking, but I like the routine once we get settled in.

It really varies by year depending on what's going on in our lives. This year I'm not looking forward to it. We moved to a different state so they're starting new schools, and I'm anxious for them.

My kids start on Wednesday. Part of me will miss hanging out with the kids doing family things but another part of me will be happy for the free time and routine.

DS is going into mainstream school.  I am a mass of nerves about it.
