I was raped and it breaks my husbands heart.

A few years ago I was raped by this guy who I thought was my friend, but he ended up obsessed with me. I was seeing a therapist and I recently got married and I thought I was better so I stopped seeing the therapist. Well my nightmares have came back, they are so bad I wake up screaming in the middle of the night. I can just feel him touching me (I made an appointment to see my therapist). My dh is so supportive and tries so hard to calm me down, I can see it break his heart everytime I wake up like that. I am so glad I have him in my life, but I thought I was over that and had it in the past. Any suggestions? Thanks....

if the therapy worked for you - continue it. And maybe go together with him - so it helps him to deal with that as well. Men feel worthless when they see a problem and can't fix it. Hope you get better. That is extremely hard to go through!

You're doing all that you can.

Be glad you have a great support system like your husband.
