So what happened if you had a kids birthday party and you invite about 30 + people and only 7 people bring gifts...but everyone is demanding free party food...but you at least bring a gift from the Dollar Tree..shame on you....so you bring NO gifts and hungry stomach ..again shame on you! I could never come to kids birthday party gift less ...I would just rather stay home...!

Sure you could throw everyone out.
But, we have parties to be with our friends and families, not to recieve presents.

A gift is not a requirement & I'm assuming you've already bought & set up the food if this is at the party so I'm thinking you have the party anyway. I would think someone had really lost it if they kicked everyone out.

i held a party for my son and only one out of 10 kids thought to bring him a present.
I admit I was PISSED. But guess what. My son wasn't mad at all. he had a great day with all of his friends and never even mentioned the lack of gifts.  I don't sweat it anymore.

Um, I've never cared about the gifts. I just want people to come and celebrate my child. It's really bizarre to think of someone throwing a materialistic fit to all her guests.

I don't throw parties expecting a gift for my kid. It was always Opportunity for her to get together with their friends and do something fun.

I always told people NOT to bring gifts, because bday parties are about spending time with friends and family, NOT presents.  I never wanted my kids to grow up to be entitled brats who expected gifts.
