She was instructed not to fly, she did anyway and the next day was diagnosed with Ebola. Should she be charged with a federal offense? Lesser charge if by some chance she did not infect anyone else?

FREAKING UPDATE: Now that this post is no longer featured I can edit and tell you all that I AM WELL AWARE INFORMATION HAS CHANGED AND IT HAS BEEN SAID THAT SHE DID IN FACT CALL IN TO THE CDC AND REPORT HER TEMPERATURE AND WAS STILL GIVEN PERMISSION TO FLY.

Well, it could potentially be attempted murder.  I think she should get into trouble, but I'm not sure what the punishment should be.

Yes really. If she was specifically instructed not to fly and did anyway putting people at risk I think there should be a charge. As a health official you would think she'd be more concerned with safety.  What if someone who was on that flight does end up contracting it? That could have been prevented had she obeyed orders. You don't think that's punish-worthy?

nope because like most people in the free world she was assured that ebola was difficult to spread and without direct fluid contact could not spread . . . neither of these poor women thought there was any chance they could get it and went on with life as usual . . .

I don't know exactly. But should someone else become infected because of her disobedience, I don't think she should get away with it.
