Did your child do this?

My 5 (just turned 5) year old is chewing on everything!  He has started chewing on all his toys, his shirt sleeves during the day and the bedsheets at night.

Is this a normal phase or is my child crazy?!

Your child is crazy. Get him evaluated.

Mine did it at 4. I got him a sensory chew necklace, which helped.

He stopped around 5

My daughter chews on everything. :( She's gotten a bit better about it but I think it's just something she does.

My 3 year old chewed on his shirt collar.

It's just a phase

It seems like at 5 they would have grown out of that. I don't remember my kids chewing on things much past age 2, but I really don't know if it's normal. Sounds common by reading some replies though.
