I always used the line "how can we be expected to be winning the race when we got a late start to it?" Referring to my race, then my cousin posted his hand full of xanax bars on facebook and asked who wanted to buy some. We're doing this to ourselves. We cannot blame white people anymore. Lil boosie himself, who everyone defended while he was in prison, said we're the worst race. We'll rob and kill someone of our own race for having money rather than congratulating them. It's time for us to wake up! Stop blaming others and hold ourselves accountable for what we've done to ourselves. It's time to make a change!

Personal accountability? Not gonna happen in this day and age, no matter what the race is.

You're right, but that doesn't just go for black people.  People from all different backgrounds exploit situations, use crutches, etc. to make excuses for their wrong-doing and sense of entitlement.

If I'm black and white does only one side of me need tough love?

It is just going to get worse. The only thing you can do is raise your children right and hope/pray for the best. This new generation has not given me hope so far. The music is ridiculous, and the way parents let their kids dress and hang out in the streets is unacceptable.

It depends on the socio-economic backgrounds of both sides

I don't have any family members that act that way nor do I, so don't group me in your rant
