We just found out my son's gf is pregnant. This is some really disappointing news. He is absolutely not ready to be a father. I'm not ready to be a grandmother either. I honestly don't see myself wanting to be that involved with the baby either.Im still raising kids of my own. I wanted better for my son.

They are adults, they can figure it out on their own. it's not your responsibility.

Are they working? Can they care for the baby? Does the gf and your son want to keep the child? Are they in college yet?

Well they're both legally adults and it was their choice to have unprotected sex knowing it could result in a baby. It sucks that you feel that you don't want to be a part of that child's life.

She's in college, but doesn't work. My son works full time.

So you have no desire to be involved with your own grandchild? I can understand saying you won't raise said child but this level of disappointment simply because you still have younger children at home is too much.
