I am curious to see how many husbands would go to marriage counseling if your marriage needed help. I know if it was dh and I he would go, he would do anything to save our marriage if he had too. I also know a couple that constantly yells and screams at each other, she feels counseling could help them, but he refuses to go, yet he doesn't want the marriage to end.

Please bump so others can vote too, Thanks.

My husband has suggested it himself.

He would probably go before I would.
I have doubts on the effectiveness of counseling.
But that's just me.

He would go, but I'm the one who would need convincing because I'm not much a talker.

My dh would go. When he and his exwife were in the beginning stages of divorce she suggested it. He went, she did not, and she was the one that suggested it. He feels it was just a cover and she had already made her decision and never expected him to agree to to go.

Yes he would go. In fact when we were struggling he was the one to suggest it.

My DH would go willingly. I'm very lucky bc we don't argue or even raise our voices to each other. We're older and know what we want and how to communicate.

Nope. He's not the type to air dirty laundry. He is impossible to talk to about problems. But if I write it down and he can read it in private, well we haven't found a problem we couldn't solve that way.
