No, but my SIL was. She left after experiencing a prolapsed cord delivery. She didn't want to see babies/moms die :(

She's a school nurse now.

While in nursing school you get to do a rotation in different areas of nursing. That is where you find out what you like and what you don't like. 

Right now I know that nursing homes and pediatrics are a big NO for me but I love the NICU, ED, & Telemetry.
