I hate to cook

Like, I really hate it. I feel badly because we don't really eat wholesome meals. I am cramped on time because I work fulltime and don't get home until 6:30pm but a lot of it is just the fact that I really, really hate to cook. I dread meals that take longer than maybe 10 minutes to cook. It makes me frustrated and irritable. Are there any other moms this way? How can I make sure we're still eating healthy without "cooking"?

I love it :)
Tonight I'm making homemade chicken macaroni.
Vitamins...lol
Otherwise, suck it up and get a quick meals cookbook :)

Good for you. I've tried to "suck it up". It turns me into a monster and mealtime is just not enjoyable.

I used to think I hated cooking. But it was just that I never really did it and I thought I was lousy at it. So I took a class and realized I was actually good. I ended up loving it so much, I finally went to culinary school.

Now, the first reply is true. If you want healthy meals, you have to suck it up. You can't have it both ways.

Crock pot. Prepare the night before or before you go to work.

Easy recipes.  I love to cook, so I don't mind the complicated stuff, but it is something you have to work up too. There are TONS of cookbooks out there with easy recipes.  Or try pioneerwoman.com and try her recipes, she even has pictures of every step and is very fun and easy to follow.

I'm not a huge fan of it. I pick easy meals. Things I can put in the oven, crock pot or do quickly.

I don't enjoy cooking either. It's a necessary evil though.
