What would you HONESTLY do in this situation?

On a whim we adopted a dog from Craiglist.

Small, cute fluffy dog.  Owners were elderly and had to move out of town to  a place that does not ALLOW dogs.

Well we were misled.  He is not great with kids after all. And, while he was initially good, he snapped at (came very close to biting) my child.

He is very sweet and friendly with ME.  And would be good with an adult but no kids.  He LOVES to go on walks. LOVES to has his belly rubbed.  And will literally sit inyour laps for hours.  He was good iwth my kids initially (was great with them petting him, etc)

I have called all the no kill shelters within a 5 hour raidus and they are either full, or will not answer the phone (lots and lots of calls) so I assume they are full too.

What would honestly do????????????

I would honestly NEVER make a decision as big as adding a dog to the family based off a craigslist ad. What a stupid thing to do. It should he illegal to adopt dogs out on craigslist. Ffs.

Rehome. It's likely that the dog is jealous, and that can get ugly real quick.

Rehome the him.

Didn't you JUST get him though? You haven't given him any time to adjust. Changing homes is a big, unsettling deal.
