6 years and I get nothing!?

I stumbled upon my soon to be ex boyfriends will. And he's left all of the properties and the family business to his daughter.
It's a small construction business- 6 employees including my son from a previous marriage.
For the last 6 years I've worked as his assistant/secretary/painter/etc. it was my idea to get into real estate. Every month I spend two days driving to the properties picking up rent. If he's short on a job, if I can I fill in. (I now know how to paint, hang a door, fix a j pipe, pour cement and hang siding) Im probably at Home Depot more than he is because he constantly forgets supplies. And he leaves everything to his daughter!
I thought he'd split the houses up between my son and her. And let me keep control of the business. I doubt she even knows where the office is.
Oh we are definitely going to discuss this.

Is your son his too??

I don't see why he would leave the business to you instead of his daughter.

She's his daughter and you aren't even his wife!!  I make suggestions to my boss al the time.  I work my ass off for him too.  Doesn't mean I expect him to leave his business to me!!  Your son is his employee - not even his stepson.

Because I helped start and run the business. Hell, up to him he'd still be subcontracting and complaining.
