Do you use this service every year?

I thought everyone knew about it.

They come ti the school and make id cards for your child. It has picture, height, weight, dob, and fingerprint.

If your child were missing, it has everything you need. Just hand it to law enforcement.

For 12 dollars, i can get 2 id cards and a free ekid id. The ekid id is sent in a text message. If your child is missing, send to all your contacts, they can fwd to theirs and so on and so on.

Would you use this?

Well if it helps, here's why I don't think it's worth paying for. I have pics of my kids and their height & weight all readily accessible on my computer (and obviously I know their birthdates). Fingerprints sound useful but when you think about it, have you ever heard of a lost child being found by their fingerprints left on something? How would police even know where and what to test for fingerprints? It seems to me that if they knew those things they'd have enough clues to find my child without needing fingerprints. And I don't understand what the purpose of the ekid ID is. An Amber Alert tells the whole country my child is missing.
