She fed them......

My friend fed her husband and kids; cheese, crackers, deli meat and canned pears.

She said that now that her company has gone to 4, 10 hour days she feels more wore out. On her day to cook she does a simple meal like the one she did tonight.

Her husband cooks 2 nights a week, her teens cook 1 meal each and she cooks the rest of the week.

Uuuggg I feel so bad for her husband and kids.

If they are suffering they are welcome to cook for themselves. She is worn out and is expressing that.

They are capable of making their own meals if they don't like her choice. Anyway, it sounds great to me. I have stuff like that for dinner for myself sometimes. It rocks!

Her husband and teens need to step it up and cook more often.  They're not helpless babies, and if they are, there's more trouble here than just what she fixed for dinner.

She also needs better friends.

There are lots of restaurants I'm sure.
If they are unhappy with what she's making.

Tomorrow will probably be blts and soup. (From a can)

That's not an uncommon meal in many places.

I'd be happy with it, and so would my kids.

To each their own.
