Hello ladies I am in a pickle and was wanting to know what your thoughts are. I had surgery yesterday, a d&c and had to have a cyst removed. I was given an execuse until Thursday or Friday, but while highly medicated I said I would try for Wednesday. BUT, my Dr said no. My job now wants me back tomorrow, and I cant even drive, or do stairs. Would you go in, or would you stay home? Im at a loss of what to do. Thoughts?

I wouldn't risk it.

No. I would tell them your doctor is not giving you permission to go in tomorrow, and remind them that if you do go in and get injured, the liability is on them. Employers don't generally like paying workers comp claims.

Just call and explain you would if you could, but it's just not possible.

No, I think it's too soon and the Dr. said no.

Why would your employer even ask you to come back early? Mine might ask me to work from home but not actually come into the office
