Of dollars on Christmas presents and im not even done yet. My kids each have one medium sized box of stuff and a couple things that didn't fit in there. Next year, we are going on a trip. This is ridiculous. I'm sick of worrying if they have enough to open and buying crap I know they won't play with.

Us too.

We're getting all new computers for everyone (there are 7 of us), 4 new phones and adding two more lines, a "crazy cart" as the three little kids "big" gift, and we're booking or Disney cruise and giving the "tickets" to all of the kids in their stockings.  We get new electronics every other Christmas so this year will be expensive and next year will be easy peasy.    I didn't even start shopping for the non electric presents yet.  Well I got my 5 year old daughter the Palace Pet Pumpkin Spice, and 2 Nerf guns for my two little sons.  Having a lot of kids gets very expensive.

I hate Christmas shopping!

Let it go, let it gooooo.

Turn away and slam the door!

(figuratively only, because your babies are probably inside the house!)

That's your own fault. Don't buy anything else if it's driving you so mad.

Twice what? I didn't even say how much I spent but either way it's flipping ridiculous to spend this much on a bunch of crap. Good for you. Yay?

Why do we, as a society, feel the need to go broke during the holidays?  It used to be 50 years ago, a child would get 2 or 3 presents and that was so special to them.  Now I see parents throwing 30 + gifts under the tree per child.  It is getting ridiculous.

Seriously!!! I wish I would have thought sooner. I bought my stuff off of amazon but I feel like sending everything back and going on a trip.
