losing your dad is not as bad as losing your mom

It doesn't matter that you were a daddy's girl, had it been your mom that died, it would have been tougher.

Yes, that's what my grandma told me about my dad's passing. Apparently, the death of a mother is much more traumatizing. What a bunch of bullshit and how insensitive of her.

Lol. I personally have never met my father and look forward to the day where I can dance on my mother's grave. Losing my grandmother was the hardest thing for me.

can't agree more. i did lose my dad and my sister too, when i was 14. a loss of a loved parent is a loss of a loved parent. period. maybe just chalk it down to grief and she wasn't in her right mind right then? cuz yeah. that's total bullshit. (and so sorry for the loss of you dad)

It wasn't her son that passed away, was it?

I am very sorry for your loss.

That's ridiculous. I couldn't care less if my parents died, either of them. It'd be a good thing.

My grandma died in 1989 and I'm still grieving her loss. I also don't know my father and Idon't speak to my mother bc she's a psycho.
