and my four month old has never had one...

So... I don't know if it's doctor worthy? I think it's just a head cold...
He woke up at 2 am saying his head hurt and when he came to cuddle up next to me he felt hot... I took his temp it was only 100.2 I remember reading in a magazine at my doctors office how giving tyenol during a low grade fever does more good them harm because then it can't produce the antibodies to help the body fight so I cuddled him he finally went back to sleep at 5am... Then I checked it just now and its 101.4 so I gave him some tyenol and a cool wash cloth over his forehead... He says his head hurts and he sounds stuffy and I he was coughing all night DH works overnights all the cough medicine dh can find at work is for 6 and up so I don't know what to do for the cough....

Any suggestions on when to bring him to the doctor? and what cough medicine a 4 year old can use...
He's 41 pounds if that helps.

We use mostly homeopathic medicine for anything our ds gets, they work just as good. Not sure what brands are available where you are but just take a look around.
