My babysitter dyed her hair...

My son goes to a home daycare.  The provider had jet black hair on friday, and platinum blonde hair today.  How she got it that color in 2 days is beyond me but that isn't the point.
My son didn't recognize her, and was pretty upset when I left him.  Is this not seriously messed up?  She has a degree in child development/education, and she thinks this is ok???
If I didnt have a really important meeting this morning I wouldn't have left him with basically a stranger.
I think I will have to find a new provider.

ETA- since obviously everyone is skipping comments...
This is not the only major change she has put my son through.  She also got a HAMSTER with no warning.  When we came in the other kids were all going crazy over it, and the noise and excitement along with an animal he had never seen before was very hard for him.  I couldn't get him to sleep until almost 7pm that night...
He is going to be a wreck tonight.

eta2~~  I know you are all just being mean because thats how this site is.  if i posted from the babysitters perspective you'd have been on my side.
He is SENSITIVE.

So she shouldn't every dye her hair?

It is her right. And she is her own boss.

She has the right to die her hair, but I understand where you are coming from.

Umm she's not a stranger you know her. You know she has the ability to watch him and that he will be just fine. Stop over reacting and go to your very important meeting.
