My bil lives with us. He picked his daughter up Friday night to spend thanksgiving week with him. Saturday night he left and went on a date and left her with us. He has to work all week except thanksgiving which is understandable and she is with me all day.

He came home tonight after work. Took a shower and told dh see ya later. Didn't even say anything to his daughter. I look at dh and said shouldn't he be spending time with her.she spending more time with me. Tomorrow he is going on a date to some art class with this teacher he os dating and my neice will be here with us. This Friday and Saturday he has to work nights so he'll be sleeping during the day.

She is enjoying herself because she is playing with my son. My son and her have always been close. But shouldn't he put the dating off for a week and spend time with his daughter.

I don't mind watching her. She's a good girl and isn't a problem I just think he should be spending time with her.

I agree. What is the point of having her there if he isn't spending time with her? If he had to work, that's one thing. But pawning her off so he can go on a date? No way

It seems silly to have her visit if he's not going to actually VISIT with her.

So he didnt even ask you to watch her? I'd be blowing up his phone to come get her. That's not right for her or for you.

He's a douche. Dating when you have your kid on holiday visitation is trashy.
