I won't ride with people who don't wear their seatbelts, and people can't ride with me unless they wear them!

In fact, my car is programmed for nothing to work if seatbelts aren't fastened within a certain amount of time after starting to drive. My car also won't go above 80 miles an hour lol. I'm sorry, but I don't want to die if we get in an accident because your ass becomes a projectile because you're not bucked up. You can fucking walk if you don't want to buckle up in my car.

I used to never wear one until my niece died in a car crash.  I think of her every time I put it on.

How'd you program you car to not work if the belts aren't fastened?

I make people buckle up in my car too. If they don't like it, they can walk.

I don't insist they buckle up in their cars though, I don't think I have any right to do that.

That's a good policy.
My DH will not wear one.
I have begged him for years but he just won't.

I have made my peace that I may just lose him if/when he gets in an accident.
I hate it though.

I always wear one and So does anyone who steps into my car.
The other night we came across an accident after it happened and the people who were at fault didn't wear their seatbelts. Guy hit the windshield and was standing in the road screaming for help.

I agree completely. I do not care whether it's a law or not in certain states.

I agree. What car do you drive?

I won't take the car out of park until everyone is buckled, child or adult, front or back. It's common sense.

Everyone where's their seatbelts in my van. The only time I take mine off is when dd drops something and I have to get it, or climbing in the back with her. Or when we pull in the drive way I'll take it off before the van stops so I can jump right out and get the kids inside and undress them ND get them settle in.
