thanksgiving is "cancelled" because my family is a bunch MORONS

I'm hosting this year. My sister, her family, my parents, and my grandad are some of the guests. Well my grandad met a lady a couple months ago and I guess they're dating and he asked if she can join us. I said yes. Nothing outrageous about that, right?

My grandad has been a widower for nearly 20 years and I'm guessing my mom and everyone else in the family just assumed that he was never going to remarry or even date again because they went CRAZY when I told them about his lady friend. I was happy for him and wasn't expecting this reaction from them. They apparently don't want to spend Thanksgiving with a stranger. My mom actually said to count her out, then my sister said that if mom is not going they wont either. What kind of childish shit is this???
They're acting like grandad is a millionaire and this woman is only after his money. Smh.

Well, that's 6 less people to worry about. Actually my dad doesn't care lol. He's happy for the old guy too ;)

Well screw them. My grandmother asked if she could bring her new boyfriend to my uncle's wedding, and everyone was thrilled with it. It was great seeing her so happy again, she was like a giggly schoolgirl lol
