That's what my 15 year old DD said to dh lol. She was dead serious too. Dh said said, yeah sure look in my wallet but he was being sarcastic. DD didn't catch that and she did go look lol. What she needed $500 for? Girl stuff. That was her answer. Then after finding only a $10 in dh wallet, she said "this will do".

Sorry, but I wouldn't have given her a dime.  I don't give my son money.  He earns it.  He gets an allowance every week, standard, but has chores associated with it.  If I complete his chores, I pay myself out of his allowance before I pay him.  If he wants something, he will have to save and pay for it.
