Does it bother you emotionally when a favorite famous person dies?

I have some favorites in Hollywood, but I would not be saddened by their deaths. It does not personally affect me or my life. Sure some great movies were made, but that's it.
A strangers death does not make me sad in any way.

I've only ever been really affected by Paul walkers death. That bothered me for a couple of days.

Yes, I was sad when many died.....I remember Elvis- way back when, the worst ever..........John Lennon.  Robin Williams, I could go on and on. Ppl that you grew up hearing and watching.  The worst for DH was Joe Strummer (the Clash) his fav died on DH's Birthday..we had just seen him in Toronto the year before. I bought him a beautiful portrait of him. You have memories of your life built around "strangers" but they touched you in that way that is in your heart and soul......

I was really sad when Robin Williams died but the one that affected me the most and still does is Brittany Murphy.

Depends on who it was, honestly. Paul Walker and Robin Williams deaths made me sad. I loved their movies, and they seemed like good people on top of being good actors. Was I huddled up in a corner for days crying? No. But it did make me sad, even though I didn't know them. Those are the only two that have really bothered me.

1 mom liked this

I can feel empathy for thier families. Like Paul Walker's daughter and Robin Williams kids. For the most part I do not feel sad as their deaths are usually related to some dumb crap like drugs.

I cried over MJ. I felt bad over Selena & Aaliyah. I'm bawling when Boy George dies.
