Let's go back to a recent oldie:

How's everyone doing with the massive Ebola outbreak?

Do you think the people who were freaking out have come out from their bunkers yet?

I find myself going back to the swine flu from a few years ago.

People and their ability to FREAK out over things is hilarious.

I was at the hospital today, pediatrician appointment, and there was a HUGE sign in the elevator that read:

If you think you have Ebola
GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM

If you have been in contact with some with Ebola
GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM

If you have been to a south African country and now have diarrhea, a headache, and a fever
GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM

So, my clinic is apparently still up in arms.

I took my baby for a well visit toward the end of the hysteria and after asking his name the receptionist started to ask me about recent travel. I cut her off mid sentence, said "we don't have Ebola" and went and sat down. It was a nice laugh for the start of the day.

That's funny they still have a sign up.

Oh geeze lol.

I'm in Texas, so I figured that might be why. But the sign was giant, bright red, and just seemed a bit excessive.

the sign at my doctor's office says "If you think you have a fever and have traveled from Africa in the last 21 days, go to the ER immediately"
