Today my son was working on opposites. The word was dark. He chose hope as an opposite. That made me strangely proud.

My 2.5 year old checks on my 11 month old constantly. If she starts fussing and im in another room she runs in saying "mommy shes crying! Does she need a bottle".

She then goes to her sister and says "it's ok honey. Mommys coming. Do you need your bottle? Do you need changed " and will frequently offer her a toy or her own special blankie which no one else can touch. She'll only share it with dd2.

My DD is getting a "Principal's Honor Roll" award tomorrow morning at her school's award ceremony.

She's the only kid in her second grade class with straight A's.

I'll be beaming.

My youngest DS got into his first choice college and clinched a spot on the lacrosse team!
My oldest DS left a very toxic environment on his own and didn't give in to peer pressure.
