Is this possible? *hair question UPDATE pg.3

Mobile Photo

My hair is naturally dark brown but currently dyed almost black (did it myself about 10 weeks ago). I would like to go blonde but don't want yellow or honey color as it does not look good with my skin tone. Would is be possible to go this color in the photo? Has anyone gone from very dark to so light and had it turn out well?

Eta: I would not attempt it myself, definitely going to a salon.

If you have a good hairdresser it can be done.

Yes, I'd have it professionally done.

Nope not with a box

Better take you behind to a salon

I'm new to the area and although I've heard good things about my current hairdresser I've only had a cut from her so far.

I added an eta, I would not try it myself. I just wasn't sure if it's even possible with my hair being so dark. I'm nervous about it coming out yellow or orangish.

Its easy to go lighter BUT if your hair is black...You need professional help

I replied before your ETA

It may take several treatments. I always like to do it more gradual.

Call the salon and ask who does the best with color. They will know.

Its possible, but your hair is going to be really delicate after. Stripping and bleaching to go from black to light is hell on hair.
