Will CPS visit if you call a suicide prevention hotline? ETA I'm not suicidal

ETA

I'm not suicidal. I'm having a really low moment today and I wanted someone anonymous to talk to about life I guess. I went to the crisis hotline online chat site and there's a long line so I left the site since there are a number of people who probably need someone to talk to more than I do.

Thank you for your replies.

I doubt it. It's a hotline. You don't have to give them any personal information.

Are you OK?

Yes, they will. I called 8 years ago and they called the cops and CPS. I got my kids back a month later. If you need help go get someone to keep the kids first then call them. I hope you realize. how much your kids need you. Please get the help and heal so you can be there for your babies. Sending you hugs and positive thoughts.

Yes, if you are going to kill yourself, someone needs to take care of the kids.

I have called a crisis center once after I took a large overdose and have been in the hospital psych ward many times over the course of several years and CPS has never been called.

Not sure but have seen many people on here claim that they do.
