sick pre k student....and Christmas play

My son is in pre k....he has been running a fever since last night ......tylenol breaks the temp and he acts normal.....he has no other symptoms but fever....his Christmas play is at 700 tonight....if itvwas your son...would you let him go or not.....yes it is very cold out tonight....to factor takibg him out in the cold five min away to get there......ahould I or not take him....please no bashing........??????? Help!

No I would not take him. Even with the Tylenol he is probably contagious.

No. He could be contagious and you are bringing him into close contact with other kids. It is just like not sending him to school sick.
