I have a stupid question. (Math related)

I'm working in the review for my math final on Monday.

I've pretty much got like 90% of the material down...but I can't figure out this problem. I have the key to check my answers...and I don't even understand where this one number is coming from.

Here's the question: How much would you have to invest in an account earning 8% interest compounded continuously (r=0.08), for it to be worth one million dollars in 30 years?

The formula and answer key are handwritten in reply. It's hard to read If I just screenshoot it.

Where is the 11.0233 coming from?
