You can't get on the ride. Sorry

First off, i want to say I KNOW it's for her own safety and I am not bitching about their rules. I totally understand that and wouldn't want them to allow anyone that would be unsafe to ride on them.

We went to the amusement park tonight. MOST of the big rides have a height rule of 46" and if you are not that height someone 54" or taller has to ride with you.

There are a few rides where you have to be 48" or taller to get on PERIOD.

DS7 and DD5 are tall enough to get on all these rides alone.

DD will be 9 next month and is 45" tall and CAN NOT get on without me, and CAN NOT get on the other rides alone. She gets so frustrated. I feel bad for her. I wish there was something that I could tell her, or do for her to make her feel better.

Just kind of a vent, I feel bad for DD.

Yes, she doesn't want Mommy to have to sit by her. She also wants to go on the "big" rides like her brother and sister.

Tell her it's for her own safety. I have a short kid too but he understands.

At our last well check my kid measured 39" and so I told her she could finally ride some of the Disneyland rides she was waiting for. When we got there this time she was still a good inch short by their height chart :/

I felt so bad. Good job mom :(

My son can't wait to fit on more rides. Although I don't see him wanting to ride without me, grandma, or uncles. We always go to Six Flags as a group. I wish my DD liked coasters.

No, you have to be 48" to ride alone or have someone 54" or above ride with you.

DD5 just makes the height to ride without me. and DS isn't 54" yet

I do tell her and she understands, but she just gets hurt that her younger (3 1/2 years younger in her sisters case) get to ride without mommy sitting right next to them.

That really sucks, momma. It has to be so frustrating to see her so sad. :(

I had a growth hormone deficiency as a child and remember when my little sister caught up to me, height-wise. Have her doctors said anything?
