I went in for a hair trim yesterday,it's been a month's since the last.The hair dresser said come in every 1-2 months for a trim and it will grow faster.True?

It won't actually grow faster, but it will often be healthier and look nicer, which will encourage you to wear it down and notice the growth.

Well sort of... Getting a trim every few months prevents spilt ends, wich make your hair look shabby and not as full..shorter...if you get it trimmed, you will have more length as it will be healthy hair...I always wondered the same thing...my mom used to own her own salon back in the day..lol, and she told me,,

Hair grows from the roots. I don't understand how trimming the ends would make the roots function differently.
