allergies in winter?

This spring was my first sinus infection. Ever since then, I've had allergies! They eventually went away- figured the weather, right? Like there's relief in winter.

Except the last few days- my eye feels swollen (started last night), my nose keeps running and i have this sneeze that will not come out! And now, i feel pressure in my head. Not a headache or migraine but pressure nonetheless.

Is this allergies? Do people with it get no relief in winter?!

There are many things you can be allergic to in the winter.

Diust.  Change air filters in your heating unit.  It's a common one.

Depending on where you live, mold.  Especially if you have a real Christmas tree - they commonly have mold on them.

Scented candles.  A lot of people are allergic.

My daughter is allergic to oak trees and mites, among other things. Her battle is year-round. I know it sucks.

Well shit. Most likely it's the cinnamon wax melt thing!

During the rest of the year, it never happened until i went outside so i figured it's an outdoor allergy. Those wax things are the only thing that's different.

I'm allergic to a lot of stuff.. I get shots every 3 weeks for my allergies so mine are year round. Our tree is killing me, but I suffer for the one month of December so we can have a real tree.

Do you have a real Christmas tree? I've been dying since we've put ours up. Everyone loves it, so I'll deal, but I'm beginning to see benefits in fake trees.
