All alone on Christmas:(

This is just a whiney post. My DH just left for work. My son is with my family because I am on call today. So the only chance I have of spending Christmas with friends would be seeing my coworkers if we get called in to work. I'm going to Skype my family later, but honestly that just sounds more depressing.

Worst Christmas ever:(

Why can't you wait at your moms and go in if you get called?

Does your mom live too far away for you to go there?   I'm sorry you are alone :(

I might later. But I'd have to take my pager and would feel like an ass if it went off. Plus then I'd just have to leave.

Go for a walk.

Walking in the morning on christmas, seems magical like the world has changed, at least I think so.

Everything is so quiet.

That's one of the most frustrating things about being on call- I can't even go for a walk unless I literally just walk to the end of the block and back over and over. It takes me 20 minutes to get to work, and I have to be there within 30 minutes, dressed and ready.
