My first Christmas that I lived away from home my parents bought me a vacuum and a set of dishes. I felt so very grown up receiving such things for Xmas, lol.

I wish I got a vacuum this year, mine sucks, and not in a good way!

I always get gifts that I need because that is what I ask for.

We don't do gifts for Christmas, but if we did they would be needs, not wants.

It seems like I only want things I need, lately. I'm excited to get things I asked for.

I've always preferred receiving needs instead of wants. It relieves some of the stress and burden of meeting those needs and that right there is way better than a bottle of perfume or a foot massage machine.

I've been gifted louboutins,  that I considered a need  -I guess that's more of a first world need than an actual need

I wish I only got gifts of necessity. Those are my favorite kind. It's the same as money to me.
