An accent is one thing, but damn!!!

I'm from the south and although I hate to admit it, I was born in Arkansas.  I have an accent, but a girl I know from high school who friended me wrote "Marry Christmas ever one!"

Damn, just annoys the hell out of me.

and doesn't know merry and marry are homonyms (I think this is the correct spelling)

Uh.  LOL. My husband is from the south and I love his accent.  My mother inlaw's is like nails on a chalk board to me.  It's like she exaggerates it on purpose and she speaks in this high fake voice.

I am not a fan of southern accents. Unfortunately, I've lived in the south my whole life. I've worked hard to get past mine, but sometimes it just slips out.
