I HATE when my kid's have friends over.

I feel like I have to watch their every move. It makes me completely crazy. I am constantly checking the clock to see how much time is left before they leave. God forbid they ask to sleep over and I can't think of excuse fast enough. Ugh. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Yep, I'm the same way. I work with kids professionally and can't seem to turn the "work" switch off when other people children are in my care.

I've always liked when my kids brought friends over, I didn't stand over them and watch their every move. I never had any problem with any of their friends.

10 and 12.. They are old enough where they can do their own thing, but I still have that nagging feeling to watch them. I think it is all the uptight parents these kids belong to. My kids have their shit together. Their friends, on the other hand, can't wipe their own ass without mommy or daddy being there.

I feel that way in the winter when they can't get outside to play. In the summer they have tons to do and its much easier when their friends stay over.

You might want to edit because this indicates that your children cannot care for themselves.

Other people's kids are insane. I love the play time for my own, but I count the minutes too.
