Can she get me in trouble for this?

I saw the deadbeat directory post on here and added my ex to it. Immature, I know! But he doesn't care for our daughter, doesn't ask about her, hasn't ever met her or paid a dime in ordered support.
His wife has been contacting me about it. I guess he is unemployed again and looking for a job. They googled his name and it popped up and so she's worried about the job search and is threatening to press charges on me.

Don't admit it. They can't prove you posted it. Guess he shouldn't be a deadbeat if he doesn't want the world to know.

I laughed...sorry. No you can't get in trouble if it's all true...freedom of speech and all.

The #1 defense to defamation is the truth. If it's the truth, there is nothing that can be legally done about it.

If it's true you can't get in trouble for saying it. If it's embellished or fabricated you may want to delete it.

Quoting Amybelle:

It's been five years. At this point I don't have any expectation but why would it ruin my chances, out of curiosity?
