Mothers refer to their child age like in the pic?
If your one of those moms, why? When will you stop using months to let someone know your child's age? I mean I understand if the reason is for doctor appointments because they refer it to 24 month check up or something like that, but when a stranger ask why not just say your child is 2, why make people do a "math problem" in their head?

Once my child hit 1 from that moment forward I will say he is 1 year old until he turns 2.

I age in months up until they are 2 because there is a big difference between a 12 month old and a 22 month old in terms of development. Once they turn 2 they are 2 until they are 3.

I always referred to the age in months until they were 2, then it's 2 or 2-1/2. Up until age 2 there is a big difference in just months, say 12 months and 18 months.

I went up to 18 months. Then it was almost 2, or 3 and a half, whatever. But no more months.
