I don't want to wear that fucking wrist brace nor do I want to get surgery I'm terrified of surgery!

I hurt my wrist back in August. Told it was sprained by the dr and the X-rays showed no break etc.

So I put on a brace the dr got me.

The brace was awful but I did it for months along with icing it.

It didn't help. I took the thing off.

My dh and friends and family wouldn't fucking stop harping on me. You need the brace why aren't you wearing it blah blah blah. It began hurting worse so I went back to the dr. Gave me a brace with a thumb piece. Told me I had tendinitis.

Told me in 2 weeks I needed to see an orthopedic dr, and I will most likely need surgery.

The other day I fell on a kids toy. Landed on my wrist. Had no pain and told my dh.

Pain is now back with a vengeance. But I'm still saying I have no pain since I fell. Getting good at pretending. I don't want surgery!!!! I have had 1 surgery in 36 years. I'm scared to have surgery. And that brace is hot and itchy and prohibits me from doing stuff. I have 5 kids. I need to be able to do stuff.

I know I don't want someone cutting open my body parts though.

Either grow up and get it done or live with the pain.

Yeah I will live with it. Surgery to me should only be done if you need it meaning you will die if you don't get it. I'm not going to die from tendinitis.

What do you want to be told here? That it's okay to pretend you're okay? It's not okay. And you're childish stubborness over your health will make your condition worse. I have psoratic arthritis so my left wrist always hurts. I wear a wrist brace ALL the time along with a knee brace. I sleep in them too. Sorry, I have no sympathy here. You have an option to help yourself. Take it and be happy that you can improve your condition.

Thats fine but dont expect any sympathy when you cant even use your wrist in a couple years
