If your husband died, would you date or marry again? Why or why not?
How long do you think is an acceptable time to start 'starting over'?

Absolutely. I'd probably be remarried within 5 years.

I don't think I would be able to say for sure if I would or not. I know I would be focussing on our children and making sure they have what they need. If I met someone, and it was good for my family, I wouldn't be opposed but would move slowly with my kids as my first priority.

Most likely. It might take me a while, it's hard to imagine life without him.

I don't think I would. I have such a wonderful man. I can't imagine being with anyone else.

Yes. I'm only 28. That's a long time to be without a companion.

I'm leaning toward no. I think I'd rather live my life my own way than deal with another long term committed relationship. Plus, I can't seem to picture myself sleeping with any one other than dh.

I honestly don't know. We have been best friends since we were 11years old. I can't imagine life without him.

Myself, probably not.  I've thought about it, and I just don't think it would work.  Supposing my husband dies before our kids are grown, which is likely, all my efforts will be on managing the house, a job, and raising two kids.  I really didn't like dating the first time around, got lucky to find someone who is a perfect balance to me, I doubt I'd ever come across anyone worth it a second time.  My husband has said it is okay, I just don't see it happening.

I've always said I wouldn't be married more than twice. I'm on my second marriage so I wouldn't marry again but I might date depending on my age.
